My biggest risk that payed off:
As a girl born and raised in the beautiful and sunny California, when it came time to decide where I wanted to continue my education, I wanted to push myself outside of the box and go somewhere completely different. That’s how I ended up at the University of Oregon. At the University Oregon I got my BA in Public Relations. Although the saying that “you’ll go months without seeing the sun and having constant rain“ turned out to be true and was a hard adjustment, the four years I spent at University of Oregon will be a time I will forever cherish and will remain some of the best years of my life.
I enjoyed learning new information so much that when I was 6 years old, my bedroom was designed and decorated like a classroom.
Ever since a very young age I’ve always loved school and learning. Yes, I was the kid growing up who even when they didn’t feel well still felt that they had to go to school because they didn’t want to miss out.
Once I made the decision to continue my education further after college, I knew in my heart I wanted to move back to the unbeatable sunny weather. I am now currently a graduate student at the University of Southern California where I am working towards earning my masters degree in Public Relations and Advertising.
Future aspersions:
As it goes for my future goals and ambitions, I am more than ever open to see where life takes me whether that be a new state, a new city, or down a new career interest point.
Some things you should know about me…
- Ever since I could talk… I talked! I love having conversations and sharing stories with new and old friends.
- Growing up as a shared middle child (I’m a twin) my parents nicknamed me ‘CNN’ because I always had the scoop on what was going on between the siblings while they were out
- I think some of the best conversations come from a game night and spicy margaritas!
